Milijas Another Set For Future Talks

Ståle Solbakken plans to hold talks with Nenad Milijas over the midfielder's future, while admitting good players will leave Molineux this summer.

It's been suggested that Milijas, in the final season of his contract, could be set for a key role at Wolves this season, amid reports that Solbakken tried to sign the centre mid at Cologne. However, the manager has said those rumours are incorrect.

He said, "In central midfield, we have a lot of players at the moment. That's something we must think about. I will have a good chat with him when we go to Ireland and, obviously, see him in training and see how things are going."

Although he didn't want to discuss individuals, Solbakken did acknowledge that quality players may have to leave to strengthen other areas, saying, "There are players who have been a little bit in and out of the team and maybe in and out of the club. In some areas we may have 5 good players when we only need 3 or in another area we maybe need to strengthen.

It's about building a big enough squad and strong enough squad with enough quality that can also cope in periods when you have a few injuries and games are coming around fast.

With the first team signings of Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson and Frank Nouble having already being made, Solbakken wants to bring more players in in more areas of the field. He said, " I will be very surprised if there are not players coming in. I know who I want but won't say as the price will go up."
